About the role
The Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with the Product, Software Development and Project teams to ensure Krystal Digital’s software solutions are reliable, secure and meet business and user requirements. The role will cover manual testing, defect identification, regression testing, API and database validation, as well as quality audits and process improvement. The QA Engineer will play a key role in identifying issues early, improving product quality and ultimately delivering seamless, dependable technology solutions that build customer confidence and support business growth.
Requirements
- • Education: Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree. professional certifications in quality or testing (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- • Manual Testing Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in various manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- • FinTech Domain Knowledge: Understanding of, or demonstrable interest in, financial technology, including concepts like payments, transfers, or banking processes.
- • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report defects and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). • Experience with testing APIs (e.g., Postman).
- • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- • Familiarity with modern software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and industry best practices for IT project delivery.
- • Candidates should possess experience in Quality Auditing and Quality Management, with a focus on establishing, reviewing, and improving quality frameworks and procedures.
